Gratitude nurtures a positive, joy-filled conscioussness that unites us with our true self. It invigorates the flow of blessings that gives birth to inner fulfillment. It enables us to fully participate and accept life with an open heart as we experience life events. It cleanses our view with the opportunity to begin to view life through different lenses with more clarity and insight. The spirit of gratitude helps us recognize and appreciate the abundance in the universe that is available to each of us. Reflect on the spirit of Thanksgiving with self-inquiry on the following:

                                          -Do you engage in a daily practice of gratitude?

                                           -How does gratitude expressions uplift your spirit?

                                           -How do you feel when you engage in a spirit of gratitude?

                                           -Do you keep a gratitude journal?

                                           -Do you celebrate all of your accomplishments -whether large or small?

                                           -Do you express appreciation to those who support you?

                                           -Do you appreciate yourself?

Upon awakening and throughout the day and before you retire, take time to focus on what you are GRATEFUL for...Reflect on your experience and capture those beautiful moments. KINDNESS

LOVE is our natural state of being. KINDNESS is an ingredient in the 'Recipe of Love". Each moment we have an opportunity to show KINDNESS. That moment cannot be recaptured. As Henry Drummond quotes,"Is life not full of opportunities for learning LOVE? Every man and woman every day has a thousand of them".

How are you treating yourself with LOVING-KINDNESS? What thoughts are you thinking? How are you feeling? The more KIND you are to yourself, the more KINDNESS you can share with others.

How much do you really LOVE yourself? Many are yearning for love from the outside world with a dependence on others and even addictions to ease the pain. LOVING yourself means manifesting more love in your life. You will be more accepting and compassionate to others.

 

Turn your attention inward and anchor in the stable and unchanging source within. Even in the midst of challenging situations, you can adopt a positive frame of mind rather than letting the mind dwell on negative states. K. Sri Dhammananda states, "If unhappiness should arise due to a negative frame of mind, it is really of our own doing and seeking. Be gentle with yourself. Teat yourself with Love and Self-Compassion by realizing the following:

 

-Know your worth

-Be self-forgiving

-Affirm self-love

So many are yearning for what they don't have and fail to take advantage of the blessings right in front of them. Spend time deepending your relationship with yourself and others. Step beyond your comfort zone and try new things.  "We only live once in this lifetime". Live well and age gracefully by:

Loss and change is part of the universal experience of life. Even though it is normal for everyone, we should not regard it as a setback with regrets. It may be difficult to let go and stand at the door of opportunity for change. If we stay stuck, we inhibit personal and spiritual growth.

In the midst of change, it is essential to be gentle with yourself, nourish yourself with loving-kindness, and maintain a self-care routine. When we embrace change, we can improve ourselves and try new things. You can become a more evolved person as you accept change, adapt to new circumstances, and view life from a fresh perspective. LAUGHTER is good for our emotional, physical and spiritual well-being. It is healing, relaxing, and a way to give ourselves that well needed break. We take life so seriously and spend so much time with regrets from the past and being anxious about the future. Take time to laugh with others and at yourself. LAUGHTER is like taking a deep breath. Inhaling and exhaling... relieving ourselves and letting go. We are so busy with self-judgment and our own critic and as  Lao Tzu quotes,"As soon as you have made a thought LAUGH at it".

LAUGHTER gives us a sense of humor, relieves physical and emotional pain, increases immunity, exercises the diaphram, connects us with others. An Abundant Mindset shifts our thinking from lack and scarcity to a life filled with possibilities. It is even more than material acquisition. An Abundant life is  filled with joy and meaning.

What intentions can you set for a wonderful day? How can you be helpful to others?  What does your ideal life feel like? In the midst of all of life's challenges, we should be optimistic and believe that our lives can be better.  The following will help you create an Abundant minset:

                                                                    -Be loving to self and others
                                                                    -Be passionate about life
                                                                    -Be grateful and appreciative

Make a choice to choose KINDNESS:
